Central & Eastern Europe

Latin America serves as one of P&G's longest standing regions. P&G entered Mexico in 1948, followed by Venezuela in 1950. P&G Latin America employs more than 10,000 people and accounts for $2.3 billion in annual sales.

North America

P&G began in the United States as a small candle and soap making company in 1837. Then, in 1915, the Company opened its first Canadian manufacturing site in Hamilton, Ontario.

Today, P&G is the world's largest Multinational consumer goods company. The Company's world Headquarters are in Cincinnati, OH, and North American manufacturing plants and satellite offices can be found throughout Canada and the U.S. including Puerto Rico.

Western Europe

P&G established its first overseas subsidiary with the purchase of The Thomas Hedley & Co. Ltd., an English soap and candle maker, in 1930. Today, P&G has on-the-ground operations in almost every Western European country.

P&G Western Europe is also helping to lead the way in innovation: of the Company's 8,000 scientists, almost 3,000 are located in this region, as well as nine of P&G's 27 R&D facilities.
